Second year graduate film project at Chapman's esteemed Dodge College of Film and Media Arts is seeking an experienced composer asap!!

There will be a LOT of music in the film-- both score and music that our characters perform--and so while challenging (we will need music composed both BEFORE and AFTER shooting) this will be a fantastic opportunity for a composer to expand his/her portfolio of work. This is a chance to compose in multiple genres and to work with a lyricist (our screenwriter).

The story is about a young opportunistic songwriter who steals his lyrics from the stories of downtrodden and unsuspecting members of various 12-step programs.

The shoot dates are still TBA--we could be shooting as early as November 2007, however.

Compensation:
Because this is a student project, monetary compensation is not provided, however you will receive credit, copy of the film, and exposure (film will be submitted to many festivals around the country and we hope to be considered for the student academy awards).
