Hello! I'm looking for a composer for my senior thesis film, "The Summer of Kate". It's approximately 30min long, but we will not be requiring music for the entirety of the film. Currently, I'm thinking perhaps 10-15 minutes of the film will need music. (Opening credits, closing credits, a few scenes.)
The style of music I'm looking for is folk music and/or acoustic guitar. Think Iron and Wine. Subtle, not overpowering.
The film is about Kate, a 17yr old who's beginning to question her decision to go to college in the fall, after spending the summer at her aunt's house in the country.

JT, If you're still looking here's a royalty-free sample that may be in the right mood/genre. If you like this, I can also compose specifically to your picture.
I may be interested. I think the story sounds very interesting! Please listen to my sample music! My influences are James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Enigma, Enya, and many others. I am a one-man electro-orchestra.
