Welcome to The Reel Project, a mun2tv original production set out to showcase and promote independent filmmakers and their short films. The show will be an outlet for your independently made movie as we will air your short film in a format that also includes behind the scenes footage, b-roll, and commentaries of the struggle or joy it was to make the film. For consideration only, please send a VHS or MINI DV tape of your movie along with all the contacts, bios, press and information you feel we need to know regarding the content of your short, in other words, make sure you own the rights to your movie.
Please send to:
ATTN: Mario Garibaldi THE REEL PROJECT @ mun2 2470 West 8th Avenue Hialeah, Florida 33010
Please be aware that tapes will not be returned to you. Once the material is reviewed we will notify you and let you know what the next step will be. This is not a contest. All kinds of shorts are welcomed. Made a feature? Send it anyway, we can work something out.
Please forward this information to anyone you feel might be interested.
For questions please email reelproject@mun2television.com
Thank you.

The show will only work if we receive material. Not sure what you mean as catch. We hope to emphasize the struggle of making the short or feature with the b roll and behind the scenes we know you all capture. Will probably pay the films selected, the small amount has not been determined yet. I ask the following, if you like to see your work showcased, in your own words, to a natioanl audience please respond to the original message. If the series works under mun2tv, (www.mun2tv.com) we hope it can be picked up by Bravo, if it works in Bravo, well, you all know what happened to Queer Eye. Wouldn't your filmakers resume look a little better if it aired on National Cable Tv? with a segment totally dedicated yo YOU? contact me directly if you have any questions mgaribaldi@mun2tv.com or 305-889-7263
I think this is a great idea, and thanks for the post, I will definately link the site for future reference. And don't worry about the others, they're not trying to be rude on purpose... as amateaur filmmakers we're all a little cautious about promotions and showcases around here.
