I did'nt want to steal Alejandros thunder but the news has bee out for like a week and I have yet to hear back from him (Hope he knows!!)

Anyway out of nearly 1400 contestants in this years Project Greenlight he made the top 250 in the directors contest with "War Letter". Pretty big deal, congrats man. Now he has to make a three mintue "film makers video" selling himself for the show. Just thought everyone should know. We are rooting for ya.

God, thanks guys. thank you, but it's only top 250, it's just the beggining.

so to keep you updated. i shot the filmmaker video this past Saturday and i am cutting it as i speak.

the gag is that it is an interview of me shot by the a crew of three, the sound/boom op, the cameraman, and the director, all played by me and my alt ego's. very minor effects done but very interesting overall.

the only real concern i have is that they won't grill me for it looking too nice. i mean, i am still in school, so i used school stuff and even our photography lighting set. it looks expensive but it did not cost me anything besides tape stock and a meal or two for friends of mine who help me shoot it. anyway, thanks for words of confidence.

Hey dont knock it brother, I know you dont want to jinx it but top 250 out of 1400 is nothing to scoff at. If nothing else it looks good on a resume. Be sure to keep us posted.
