New short film. Shot and edited this week. Kid asks his father for advice on making some friends. Hilarity ensues...well at least, it's supposed to. (excuse the age difference between father and son Big Grin)

(360x240, 12.5MB, 4 minutes, quicktime 5 needed)

Hey I like how crisp your image is. Apple's version of Sorenson 3 isn't as crisp as I'd like; how did you get it so good? I've been thinking of getting either Sorenson Squeeze or Cleaner 6 to encode, but they're pretty expensive. Quicktime's Sorenson encoder tends to give it some flicker, too, actually.

Anyways, keep shooting.

I use Cleaner 5.1 and the Sorenson 3 codec. I got it off of journeyed.com, and since I'm a student it only cost me 200 bucks.

Who wrote the music for it? It goes VERY well...

Very cute ending..."It's just a reaction"

This music really brings the short to life, I think. Unfortunately I can't say I composed it. One of my crew members gave me this cd and said check out some of the tracks. So I found two tracks I thought were good "funny" music, they fit the awkwardness of the character. I don't know what the soundtrack is called though, as it's from a japanese cartoon and all the cd cover writing is in japanese. Good stuff though.

Glad you liked it.
