INDIEPRODUCER presents the 4th ANNUAL Red Carpet IP AWARDS GALA, May 12, 2006.

It’s that time again! Tickets are on sale now for the most exciting event of our calendar year – the IndieProducer Awards Gala.

Join us and a host of celebrities, high-caliber industry professionals and independent filmmakers for this extravagant red carpet affair held at the prestigious Writer’s Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. The IP Awards Gala is a celebration of the independent spirit where we honor the winners of the IP Screenwriting and Short Film Contests, and recognize a successful filmmaker with the IndieProducer Award for “Outstanding Contribution to Film”. Past recipients include Bill Paxton, Jon Favreau and Andy Garcia. This year we are proud to present the IndieProducer Award to Actor Michael Rapaport.

This year’s invite list includes Benicio Del Toro, Parker Posey, Jake Gyllenhaal, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Patrick Van Horn, Kevin Spacey, Charlize Theron, and many more, and we have already confirmed Dave Foley (The Kids In the Hall), Michael Madsen (Kill Bill, Sin City), Ricardo Chavira (Desperate Housewives), Eddie Griffin (Deuce Bigalow), Tracy Morgan (SNL, The Longest Yard), Crispin Glover (Back To The Future), Jeremy London (7th Heaven), Nick Stahl (Sin City, Terminator 3), Phil Gordon (Celebrity Poker Showdown), Nona Gaye (Crash, The Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions), Bokeem Woodbine (Ray, The Rock), Brian Herzlinger (The Tonight Show, My Date With Drew), among others, and the RSVPs keep coming in.

The IP Awards Gala has been listed in the “About Town” section of the Hollywood Reporter and last years afterparty was described as second only to Scorcese’s Black and White Film Foundation Benefit.

The admission price includes a ticket to the ceremony, gift bags provided by “It’s in the Bag”, and a VIP pass to the rocking afterparty, which is catered by The Farm of Beverly Hills and includes a live DJ and complimentary bar sponsored by Stone Brewing Co., Corzo Tequila, D’Argenzio Wine, and Naked Juice.
