The final film I did before I graduated from film school, "Television Show," is now up on the site. I'd love for all of you to check it out.
Shameless self promotion, I know, but I felt that I had to make some sort of an effort to redeem myself, after ruining so many people's lives with "Dump."
I'm proud of and happy with this film. I'm sure some of you will enjoy it. Please check it out and give it a chance. If you like it, make it known. And if you don't, well, make that known too. I'm sure you will.
No possible way. Theres no way the same guy who directed that piece of crap "billy takes a dump" did this excellent demonstration of proper technical execution and a creative and entertaining story, also. What the hell HAPPENED!???
Did you suddenly change and turn into a new guy?
I dont get it.
Anyway,
That was excellent man. It was hillarious in the begining.. I loved the throwing of the cake.. followed by the dynamite. Classic. And cool effects too.. with the lightning and the titles. Good demonstration of camera techniques, lighting, pacing, editing, EXCELLENT acting, and good story.
Quite a turn around from previous films, paticularly "dump."
Good job.

[QUOTE]Questions, what'd u film it with, light it with, edit it with.. budget? QUOTE]
Hi there. Thank you for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed this film considerably more than "Billy Takes A Dump."
On to your questions... the movie was shot with a brand new Panavision Super-16mm camera called the "Elaine." My school has a connection with Panavision and they donate a great deal of equipment to us every year. We shot on Kodak's new pristine Vision 2 stock, which looks amazing. We lit it with a great deal of professional lights including 1Ks, 2Ks, 250s, etc. Edited in Final Cut Pro, and the whole movie cost about $2500.
Hope I've helped shine some light.

Hey, when everyone was yelling at this kid about Billy Takes a Dump, didn't he say that he was working on a real film that he guaranteed will "knock our socks off"? Turns out he was right. Anyone remembered how we all responded to that? I think we told him to f--- off... Oops.
