I wrote, directed, and edited this short film for school last year (English class, strangely enough). Iâve done much more professional work, but this film surprised everyone (including me) and gained much of an underground following on my campus (Georgia Tech) and many other campuses around the nation. Itâs a biting satire and âmockumentaryâ on students and their computer addictions at GT, and it includes several references â or more of an homage â to some of my favorite films. I believe that members of this site will be the perfect audience for this type of film, and it is my hope to receive some constructive criticism.
Like all films on this site, it was made for a very small budget. Keep in mind that this movie was never supposed to make it outside the English class door, but since it has become somewhat popular this year, Iâve decided to promote it a bit. Itâs not my best work and Iâm really concerned about advertising it more on the internet because, like all wanna-be-directors, Iâm very conscious about my rep. Should I submit this to studentfilms.com?
Hereâs the link to âDigital Confinementâ: http://128.61.60.47/html/files.html Itâs in xvid format, and the correct codec can be found on that page. I promise that the d/l will be worth it, or everyone has the permission to flame the hell out of me.
There's no such thing as "worthy." Any film can go on the site.
And I was in a similar situation with my film "Watch Your Back." It was never meant to be seen by the public (which is okay considering how much it sucks) but enough people convinced me to send it to the site, so I did.
