Hello Hello all. As usual I have been off and away but I still lurk about though it seems I almost never have time to post. I figured no one here would even remember me anyway LOL. At anyrate some have requested an update so.. here it is..

Although I still live in Charlotte I have been spending most of my time in Miami working at my old home Rhino studios. They simply do massive amounts of music video production now so I have been working there in various crew positions as well as directing (also art director, dollie grip, camera operator and editor) I have always enjoyed working there and being willing to drive from Charlotte to Miami and sleep at the studio for weeks on end showed the boss I am as serious as he had hoped. We have been working alot lately shooting videos with eithere the DVX100 and P+S telecine adapter/35mm primes combo or with the Varricam HD and Panvision lenses dependent upon the budget (we have had some music videos lately with budgets over $100,000)

I have been slowly building my own clientel, bring in videos and shooting them. The ultimate goal is to make Tizzy Entertainment a subsideary company within the studio and generate all my own business. FYI for music videos I direct under the name "Tizzy" since so many know me as that so keep an eye out for some of my videos to start poping up. I am also looking to possibly hook up with some broader range music video director agencies (HSI, revolver films ect) so we will see how that goes.

All that said it has put film production on hold a bit. The studio does massive amounts of music video production especially for our size (we had 8 music videos last month, and look to have more this month) we have been working with the likes of Ice-T, the Black Eyed Peas, Diana King, Pitbull, Ron Artest ect. The great thing is feature films is the prinary and ultimate goal of this studio so we are always working toward that. They are finishing up the edit on their last film and as soon as that is done and delivered to the distributor we will be working toward the next film project which very well may be one of mine.

All this going down and we are moving our studios to a larger location so.. things have been nuts.

But if any care you can check out some of the work we have been doing. All this is professional work so it cannot be hosted here (otherwise I would not post it) if you go here http://homepage.mac.com/alexmia/Menu2.html you can view several videos I have been apart of and all came from the studio where I work. (as well as a trailer for the afore mentioned feature film) Also, if you go to the "client review and approval" section you will see several files listed "Tizzy" those are actually test versions of one of the latest music videos I directed and edited. Not complete yet (you will see some test VFX) but somehting to watch anyway. The ".MOV" files are for quicktime 7 only, the "MPEG-4" Quicktime 6.

Also you can go to this artists page on yahoo http://music.yahoo.com/ar-309011---Adassa and her videos for "Kamasutra" and "De Tra" were both done by us. (I dont care for De Tra much, but Kamasutra is a good vid) so you can check those as well.

Other big things possibly in the workd but I can't mention them just yet. So, enough useless knowledge about me yet? Yeah I fugured.

Well all know I am always lurking, and will certainly try to raise my ugly head from time to time. Keep shootin all!
-Tizzy

Thanks for the kind words all, good to be around. The studio I work at is weird in there is so much going on it is hard to keep up with things like this. My hat truly goes off to Chris. I know he works within the industry and the fact that he can keep up with this site at all amazes me. Good work my man.

I actually may be coming out to La La land before to long. I have a friend who is out there doing rather well and he has asked me several times to come visit. If so i will have to get up with lots of people, Chris, Rob, Jay, kuberick, ect. I'll keep you posted if that happens.

Finally yeah HSI is incredible. A kid I know, just 20 years old just signed with their LA office. bastered! LOL No he is wicked talented, and of course that is a great opportunity. I hope you get the internship, now that is a serious education about the bizz.
