It's creative and kind of funny, but doesn't deliver any kind of real message supported by fact. Maybe you were just going for entertainment, and not a serious ad.

What's the purpose of using an anamorphic lens if you're presenting it 4:3? Did you just want the slimming effect?
I liked the concept, although I think it would've come across better with older actors in the anchor roles (Work with what you got, though). The appearance of the security camera was a nice touch.

I watched at least a dozen ads and yours was the best Ive seen. I would have gone through more ads in hopes of getting to yours, but wading through all that crap was making me sick. Its actually making me want to make a website defendbushin30seconds.com or something to the likes of that.

All right. Any one who has been here for anything length of time knows I support our current President. So I am taking deep breathes so I don't turn this into yet another politcal topic. After all this isn't studentpolitics.com Your video provides no facts whatsoever. It directly attacks the president with no support. Last I checked that is a form of propaganda. Have we all forgotten that Clinton sent our troops to die in Iraq also? And to do what? Bomb some aspirin factories. Whoa, I need to get back on topic. You will notice that the conservative side is not taking biting charges at liberals with no support. Bush wants to get this over with as soon as possible, but he just can't up and leave! Do you realize what would happen if a liberal gets into office? "We're outta here Iraq, see ya' later!" Guess what that gives us a couple of years later. A couple of Amercan blood thirsty Iraqis (sp?) who want to kill us because we backed out on a promise. I will close with a true example. A boy (whose parents are liberal) went with his grandpa to a democratic convention. At the end a woman came up to the ten year old and said "Your going to grow up to be a good little democrat aren't you?" The boy responded, "no ma'm, I am going to grow up to be a good American." Later, when the boy got home he told his parents that he never wanted to go to one of those things again. When inquired to as of why he responded, "those people are so fall of hate. They had nothing but bad things to say about our president. I don't like being around people full of hate."
That's a true story guys.
Anyway, I hope I didn't stray too far and didn't come across rude. Good day, and long live not conservatives, not liberals, but Americans.

If you know anything about Clinton, you'll know he was not a Liberal, he was Right in the Middle between left and Right. Read Michael Moore's "Stupid White Men". But yeah, DOWN WITH BUSH. Sharpton in 2004, i know he has no Chance but hes the true liberal of the group. PEACE

Clinton may not call himself a liberal, but he should. He's just as left as all the others. Anyways, speaking of no support, no one has done that even on this forum. If a ten year old boy can do that with a majority of liberals why can't you guy's do that. That doesn't make you look good. It makes you look, well, frankly, it makes you look jealous. You are so upset that someone is finally doing something right and not on your side. Coem one guys, give me some support on why you hate Bush, and don't give me, "because he's a dictator." Pardon my frankness, but all these liberal candidates are a bunch of DICK-TATORS. Almost everyone of these liberal candidates are promising more taxes to spend on God knows what. Well, I guess we'll see in 2004. But let me warn you, if you let a liberal into office the land of America will be blood stained.

The original output was 16x9, however the site folks weren't too specific about how the display will be handled before the contest, but in the end they resized all the submissions to 4:3 . I can send you the original QT file (2mb) and you'll see the differences.
As far the actors go, you hit it right on the head: that's all we had to work with. In fact we were still scrambling for actors 2 hours before the shoot. I had found out about the contest 3 weeks before the deadline, meaning we had NO time for casting or prep or whatever.
That security camera was installed by the manager of the building in the hall outside the apartment HALF AN HOUR before the shoot. I was freaking when I saw it, because we definetly needed a CU of a security camera.

Gotcha!!! Thanks for the clarification.
And I've totally been there with the actor situation.
