For any and all who plan on coming to the theater showing of "Intersection" in Jupiter Florida, on April 8, at 7:00pm. Here are directions.
You want to take I-95 to the "Donald Ross Rd., exit 83" and get off, going east. Make a left onto "Parkside Drive". Next make a Right onto "Avenue A" and then another right onto "Main St."
It is called the Jupiter Abacoa 16 theater. You should see signs for it soon after turning onto Parkside. Just park in one of the parking garages, and come on in.
Im sorry to anounce that apparently, there is a fee of some kind. My suggestion, tell the ticket clerk your a student here for the student showcase, and maybe they wont know to charge you. Worth a shot. Hey, its 9 movies for the price of one. Not to bad. Get there early, you dont want to miss the show, and be sure to introduce yourself. See you there. R. Michael
Ill be the 6'2", 230lb, dark haired, eyebrow pierced wierdo, with the big smile on my face.
As for "how far" If your serious, check out www.mapquest.com then, click driving directions and enter your address, and the address of the theater (this goes for anyone who needs directions.) This will tell you the fastest, or shortes route to get here, and give you a realistic breakdown of how long it will take. Coming from Al., id say tis probablly around a 13, to 15 hour drive. Worth it if you can get a hotel, and check out some festival events. If you get here by fri., you might be able to score some tickets to a special screenign of "The Pianist" hosted by Adrien Brody, but there gonna go fast. Hope to see you all there. R.
