I just found out my short made the top ten at Kevin Spacey's Triggerstreet festival.
I'm going to Sundance now! My film's going to screen there in front of some celebrity judges.
It's this little movie I made for 50 bucks. Check it out at www.dimeworth.com .
I just wanted to share my excitement. I've been reading this site the last couple of days and I've learnt so much. I'm starting a no-budget feature in a few months in Toronto. I'll be looking for cast and crew. Anyone interested, go to my site and email me. I'll be posting an announcement when I'm ready.
Just out of curiosity: Now--where are all those members who complain about people suddenly signing up at studentfilms.com and using it for their own advantage?

I want to take advantage of it, but I'm not a student right now.. nor am I employed.. so this strange middle ground that we know as "starving artist" heh... 24-years old, but neither here nor there..
I really want to put the next film up on here.. but I don't think I qualify.
We'll see, I wrote the site an email..
Thanks for all the replies guys..

Great job on the film and on admiting that you are not a student. I am glad you can admit that you really wouldn't quailify to post a movie here since you are not a student. I never understood how the regulars here could compare studentfilms to films that are done by those not in the student catergory. Anyone would realize that students wouldn't have all the years experience or money as the others would.
What does Studentfilms.com mean to you?
