First you're gonna want to rent a car and drive north... To LA. The only thing to see in Anaheim is Disneyland, it's not a nice or exciting place. There's definitely nothing of interest to a film maker there......
Um, there's lots to do and see in LA. I f you've never been I'd probably head to Hollywood first, just to check it out. Take a drive down the "Sunset Strip" . You'll see many places along the way you may want to stop. Be sure to cut up one street and check out "Mann's Chinese Theater" on Hollywood Blvd. (put you hands in the cement an snap a few photos). You'll also see the "Kodak Theater" there which is home to the 'Oscars' now.
From there go to Beverly Hills. Actually you can just keep going 'west' on "Sunset Blvd." you'll end up in Beverly Hills (the homes). Drive around through the neighborhood and check out some houses (don't buy a "Star Map" they aren't real). You'll pass the park (on you're left) where George Michael got arrested.

Um.. After that make a left off of "Sunset Blvd." and cut down to "Wilshire Blvd." and head east (if you've already passed the back of UCLA... which will be on your left). Ok, once on Wilshire go east till you hit "Rodeo Dr." (go shopping or what not). Ok from there go back (heading west) and go to Westwood, th at's where UCLA is (trust me you don't wanna go to USC). So as you are driving down Wilshire please say hello to my wife [joke;-).... you'll actually be passing two of the biggest Talent Agencies in the world]. Ok now you're gonna wanna stay on wilshire f or about two miles. you'll pass through a row of high-rise apartments (it's called the Corridor) some of these apartment are like 4 to 10 mil. Anyway keep going and make a right onto "Westwood Blvd." keep taking it north and you'll hit UCLA. After your do ne in Westwood, get back onto Wilshire and go west till you hit "Ocean Blvd." make a left. From there you will see the Santa Monica Pier. Park... Walk... Right in this area there is a place called "The Third Street Promenade" you may want to check that out too. (BTW.. You'll also wanna get on to "Pacific Cost Highway" {PCH} and drive up the cost to Malibu. PCH is straight down from "Ocean AVE" ---down the hill. You may just see me surfing out at Malibu) After that get back onto 'Ocean' heading south and you'll hit "Venice Blvd.". Park and walk down to the boardwalk...
There's lots more to see and do just look around you'll find something!
