hey all,
my short film "Suffocation: Confessions of a Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store Cashier" just got accepted for exhibition and distribution through Microcinema International.
What they do is tour american and Europe with a collection of short films (usually a string of a theme that threads them together) and show at art house theaters, galleries, cafe's, museums all over. As far as the distribution goes, for 18 months, the short will be apart of a DVD featuring a collection of short films. The agreement/contract is non-exclusive, so i can still retain ownership and submit the film to other festivals.
I totally recommend submitting to them. I was hoping they'd take 1953, but i'm still happy they took my other film i submitted.
their website link is:

scientific exercises to even begin to make itself visable; besides I
would need space and air, and especially a head of steam -- which I
haven't got."
