FILM DISTRIBUTION CONTEST

At IP we are constantly working on how to best assist the independent filmmaker in your drive to become working professionals. We started brainstorming and surveyed IP members about what the ultimate service would be and the resounding answer came back to us…. Distribution. So we have created the IP 2003 Film Distribution Contest.
For all you guys who have actually gone through the battle of pre-production, principal and post-production only to find yourselves hanging in the wind with a great film but no way of getting it out there, so the world can benefit from your creative genius. This is your chance. The winner of the 2003 Josephine Distribution Award is guaranteed distribution in at least one of the following mediums: Theatrical, Home Video /DVD, Television, or International

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION

IndieProducer.net is open for submissions for the First Annual International Short Film Competition. The goal is to showcase the talents of independent filmmakers and actors the world over by providing them a venue to screen their finished short film for entertainment industry professionals.
The winning filmmaker will receive the IP 2003 Josephine Award Short Film award along with $1,000, exposure and other career boosting goodies. All entrees must be in by September 15th, 2003.

INTERNATIONAL SCREENWRITER COMPETITION

The IP Screenwriter Award is designed to give talented screenwriters a shot at seeing their cinematic vision realized. The prizes include cash, merchandise, and meetings with literary agencies, directors, entertainment attorneys, or an executive at a major Hollywood Studio. Add to that the possibility of production and screenwriters just can't afford not to check out this contest. Hurry because all entries must be postmarked by August 12, 2003.
