I was looking forward to this film just because the word "gangster" was in the title...and I think gangster movies are cool. But I wasn't exactly pulled into the film. I don't wanna be an ass or anuthing, but you did say quote: You're comments would be greatly appreciated.
and I love giving comments...a few problems. One was the lighting...it was awfull. The car scene in the dark was bad...you atleast should've had the lights on in there...the acting was your average student film acting, so I won't touch that. I had a few problems understanding the story....It was a bit hard to understand...why did they all die in the end? The opening joke was pretty good though...It wasn't hillarious but it was quite clever...write more dialogue like this and you got something good. One thing I didn't like, which I don't like in any films...Hollywood or Student, is the music...I have a problem with hearing a song that's already been used in a film...and for your credit sequence you used the song from Desperado when God, Quentin Tarantino, enters the bar. I'm not gonna hold it against the review since it was only one song...just don't use music that's been used before. I did like the shot of outside the Christmas Tree Office place where the one guy shoots the girl...that looked pretty cool. Keep filming...maybe a SUBURBAN GANGSTERS 2...just make it more set in daylight...won't have to deal with lighting. TacoWagonProductions "Good. Bad.
