i have just recently actually today bought a pc to go next to my mac yay ohh i can feel the guns loading.....
im NOT TRYING TO START A MAC VS PC WAR!

im just telling you the specs

2 gigs of ram corisar ddr 333

intel pentium 4 prescot procsessor um if i can remember 3.o gigahertz idk

a 250 gb hd western digital

and a 80gb hd same

two nec 16x dvd + - re writable drives
(so i can burn and write at the same time!)

ummm this cool case thats like silver and black with like blue leds on the side fan i love it

thats about it and a crappy motherboard

don't burn and write at the same time with DVDs, you'll most likely get buffer errors.

Nice box though.

If you could, get a sound card thats offboard from the mobo.

If your mainboard can run the two dvd drives off two seperate ide buses (not as slave and masters) you shouldnt have too much of a problem if you are not doing anything else at the same time.
