Hey, guys. I've been working on the design of my website - which will probably change again and again. I would like some feed back on the logo.

I like the logo you are currently using. The 'roundness' of it is asthetically pleasing. If you were to use that same banner though, I would consider rounding the edges of your Updates and Links Boxes, if that were possible. It would give a much more uniformed, professional look. Hope I could help Smile

I see. Thanks for the comment. I just don't know how to do that. I'm using CSS/HTML to build the site. Maybe once I get back to school I can use the iMacs at the R&D lab. They have Dreamweaver, Flash, etc. I think I'll do that then.

The second on there is the best logo, IMO, but it's kind of fuzzy. Make sure you create the final version as a vector so it can be scaled.

Thanks titanumdoughnut. I my girlfriend thinks that is the best one as well. About the blur. It was intentional. that's the actual size.

Oh, okay. It's just that logos are traditionally very sharp and perfect looking, as they are reworked for all different uses (letterheads, stamped logos, DVD covers, website, etc.). Maybe part of the animated logo in the opening to your movies could blur or something, but I'd say you should probably avoid the blur whenever possible.

Your header is too big, at least for a website. On a website you want everything on the homepage to be visible. People are lazy, if they have to scroll down to see it, they won't. CSS is some confusing crap, I'm designing a site (http://www.racingsinglet.com/gerry) right now using CSS and it's a pain in the butt.

Also, one more thing. If the logo is going to be center you need to center everything else.
