Disclaimer: I am not getting any money from this idea of promotion and nobody would. I am making my money doing graphic design

Situation: I am helping this company from Hong Kong to establish in the U.S. market. They created some cool product - portable multimedia player.
I had an idea to include some content with each device and it was initially approved by this company. Since they are not making any money off this, they cannot pay.

I am seeking independent filmmakers, multimedia artist who would be interested to provide their creations to be included with their portable multimedia device, which is going to be released next month. Company plans to sell about 5000 devices each month all around the world. I thought that maybe someone would be interested to promote his artwork this way, because it could be just another chance to get your name out. Company's benefit would be its satisfied customers. I figured if I would purchase device like this, I’d be surprised to find some short movie and I would watch it, just out of curiosity. If I would love it, I’d go on the web to find more info. Another thing, I think it will be possible to arrange to place your credits/info on their website.

Specs:
- 6.5" (16:9) LCD screen
- 20-80Gb hard drive
- This device can be connected to any TV set and has "CF" card reader (CompactFlash). It also has decent sounding speakers built-in.

It runs on embedded Linux-based OS, therefore supports many audio/imaging/video formats and has virtually unlimited capabilities in expanding of functions (such WiFi, GPS etc). It used FireWire interface for connection.

Requirements for artwork:
1. All artwork should be formatted to 16:9 ratio.
2. Should be encoded in one of supported format
3. should be ready “to go”, with all credits, warnings, links etc.


Now I need your suggestions:
- what kind of license (s) should be used to make this happen and protect filmmaker and manufacturer from each other?
- does each movie need to have some kind of "warning" stating that device users don't have rights to sell/distribute this movie?

I will be glad to hear your opinions.
