I just had a question, mainly for Chris. Is the Filmmaking Contest taking place this year? Because I was sad that I wasn't able to enter last year and was looking forward to submitting a film this year.

I also would like another shot, my last piece was not exactly . . . fulfilling.

What about voting on the theme like we did last year, and we can possibly use some of the reject themes from last year's vote with one or two new ones thrown into the mix.

How many entries were there last year?

I think there were 18. We need a good theme though, I felt that last years wasn't all that great. I liked the road one a lot however.

forget the theme, we've always had the idea of creating a more in depth contest, where we'd have a script to work with/outline

Kyle, are you saying we should all make the same script and we vote on the best interpretation?

we can all discuss an idea, a simple outline like "this movie is about how Bob and nancy got together" ect...there's a million different synopsis' we could come up with, just seems better than a one word thing...itd be interesting to see the same story as different stories
