Hey i thought it would be cool if there was an online submission form, where u just type in the information instead of printing out a form and penciling it in, it would save paper and space since it would..u know.. be made entirely of data Smile

now if u already have something like that, i was wondering if u could direct me to it cause i get lost around this site.

I don't unfortunately have an online submission form...but it is a great suggestion.

However, I would always still need one on paper for the signature giving me the right to broadcast your film.

Why do you need a signature giving you the right to broadcast a film? Is that completely necessary? I've posted a film on a different website and I didn't have to sign anything.

Daveey, its because Chris is protecting himself and StudentFilms.com through a release form.

Meaning you give him your WILLING consent that he can air the film on this site, with your permission. That way, Chris doesn't get sued, and StudentFilms.com stays up and running.

"Studentfilms.com assumes that all filmmakers have recieved permission to use all material within a film and will not be held liable for any legal action that may occur by posting a film that has copyrighted music of other material that was used without permission"

If Chris didn't have this release, and you took a song say off of KaZaa and used it in your film WITHOUT consent from the producer, etc. they would most likely go after Chris. The release form is protecting Chris, so that you are liable and NOT Chris.

Hope this makes sense.
