Yes. You need to be either attending a College or High School or your film had to have been made during that time. However, exceptions are sometimes made. The school that you are attending doesn't necessarily need to be a "film school" nor do you need to be taking film classes.
That's from the FAQ in the submission page of the site. If you are unsure whether your film can be put on the site email Chris, the site owner and tell him your situation and he will let you know for sure, I have seen films on here by balding men so you never know. |

You don't have to be a film student per se - but one needs to be attending a college or high school - some sort of educational institution. I do sometimes let recent grads submit. I do have to put a school down for each film. Let me know if you have any more questions. -Chris Studentfilms.com
