Please read the Submission FAQ before submitting to the site.

A couple of updates:

DVD-ROMS are acceptable for submissions, as long as you use the DV codec at 720x480 for NTSC.

QuickTimes and AVIs using the DV codec are now both acceptable. The DV codec is the key. Any other codec or frame size might cause problems. (For PAL - use the PAL equivalents)

DVDs that can play on a set-top player are also acceptable but note that the quality will not be as good as a DVD-ROM with a QT or AVI using the DV codec. This is because the film is compressed into an MPEG-2 file for the DVD. Submitting with a QuickTime or AVI with the DV codec is the same as submitting a DV tape.

Take care - let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
Chris Wright
