Nice work. Seems like a good recipe. I will say the blood pooled on the ground looks a lot more convincing than the blood wiped across the actors forehead.

red food dye...I wonder how badly that stains the skin.

That crap stains alot lol. I usually use a bottle of Karo syrup and about 8 drops of red food color, and 3 blue drops. It doesnt stain so much, but it very sticky (especially if its hot out)
