Being that I live in Memphis, and the fact that it seems that the U of M has the best film program in Tenneseee (maybe?), I was thinking about transferring there from UT-Knoxville since I now decided that I want to study film. Does anyone know anything about Memphis's film program. I know that the city is being recognized by more people as a good place for filmmakers and filmlovers, but is the school any good for those wishing to become film directors? Will I be able to go to one of the big film schools (USC, UCLA, NYU, AFI) with a B.F.A. from Memphis?
