I'm a senior in high school living on the east coast. I'm far from rich and I need help with finding out what film school is the best for the $$$. I've looked at CUNY Purchase, Ithaca, FSU, and Temple. Which one is the best and why? That's what I really need to know: why is it good/bad. But please, if anyone has any better suggestions, I'm all ears, cuz I honestly have no frickin idea what to do. I'm incredibly confused. Please help.

Question:
which is the best?

Choices:
PURCHASE
FSU
Ithaca
Temple

you can probably get a ton of compiled info by clicking the "find" tab right above your post and inserting each of those college names as search terms. We have probably had close to 30 inquires on each of those colleges in the past year or so, so you can probably find all the information you need through that simple search function.

I can tell you that Purchase probably has the best reputation. Ithaca is a close second.

I'm going to have to disagree with Josh, while Purchase and Ithaca have really good programs, FSU has by far the best film program out of those schools, extremely selective though.

You may want to consider the College of Santa Fe's film program. I don't know much about the school and have read mixed reviews, but I remember thinking that they had interesting classes and have heard that they have good equipment and is probably fairly affordable. Also New Mexico has an emerging film industry, so it may be advantageous to make contacts with their MOV department.

Again, I don't know very much about the school, so you'll have to do your research.
