How can I figure out my GPA for applying to an american university? I am from canada the requirements for canadian universities seem to be vastly diferent.

Hm...the Canadian grading scale is quite a bit more lenient than the American one. And apparently the different provinces each have their own adjusted grading scale, so that could throw things off a little. I dont know if you would translate your Canadian scores into the American equivalent. (for example an 87 in B.C. is an A, but in American it would translate as a B)

i guesss i would also like to know what courses i use to find out my GPA because in canada, to apply to a university, you choose 5 or 6 high school courses that you have completed from a list of acceptable courses provided by the institution, and then your average is an average of those 5 or 6 courses.
