i have already applied to columbia college chicago but i had recently heard that depaul also has a new film program. does anyone know anything about depaul's program? also, what would you say is a better choice? depaul or columbia college? thanks.

from what I've read I think that columbia is a better choice, also check out northwestern

depaul might be more about film studies columbia is more hands on. northwestern is supposed to have hands on as well

Northwesterns film program is dead or dying. Columbia is still shooting on 16mm film. By the time you get out that technology will be obsolete.

I'm not sure what the undergrad program is like at DePaul but I can tell you the Digital Cinema grad school is great and it's hands on from day one.
