I just finished making a highlight tape trailer for my high school's basketball team.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=0be1oZV4TQ4

I was wondering if this is something I'd want to consider using for my college portfolio when the time comes? I know schools look for actual films with a storyline, and I'd be sure to send in some other shortfilms as well, but would I send this in too?

Also, if anybody could offer me any advice or tips for the future, I'd love to hear.

The video quality on youtube didn't come out great by the way.

Thanks

I'm not sure if it demonstrates a talent for visual storytelling, which is what most schools like to see, but it definitely shows that you have technical competency. It would nice if you could also send a film that you've made, but even alone this is probably more than what most students can show for their time at high school.
