i just visited the college of santa fe, loved the dorms, loved the campus, loved the equiptment, teachers seemed really cool. the only real problem i can see is that they're (meaning a majority of students)more independent based, and dislike larger budget films (eventhough films like the Missing have been shot on their campus). in the end, its the connections and equiptment that will decide where i go, but i am wondering if anyone knows any colleges that are perhaps a little more "mainstream"? a little less "artsy"?

A friend of mine went 1 year to chapman and he told me it is a very good "technical" school...after chapman you have good chances to get a job in the industry as a sound guy, gaffer, Dp or what not...

but NYU, USC, UCLA--->first choice

I recommend NYU *fanboy*
