Alright. I know there are so many questions about schools and whatnot lurking around the site already, but I need some advice from you guys. First off, I'm going to film school. There's no question about it at all, and I'm set. But I was wondering, knowing that film education can be hard to get sometimes, if maybe heading off to a graphic design program for a few years would help me out to get where I want to go. At Grant MacEwan in Edmonton, there thinking of brancing off their design program into three or five specialties, including video production. Would it be smart, say, to study in that program, work a few years in the field, then head off to a film shcool. Maybe some of you have done this or are thinking or doing so, so make sure you post what you think.
Thanks.
