Is there any way that college admission offices would have a problem with a submitted student film that has two directors or writers? Would it be a problem because its not 100% your creative work, because you worked with another person, or is it no big deal. I am wondering becaues a friend of mine has been making films of the same style as mine, and we want to do a project togther. This is a dumb question, but i am still curious.

Ok, here's what you do. Replace the credits with just your name under the director. Done and done. (Unless of course you both are applying to the same school.)

The school should specify whether they take collaborative work or not. AFAIK some do, most don't. If it doesn't specify in the application materials they give you, you should probablly call them and ask. I'm a firm believer that honesty is the best policy, but there are certainly bigger fibs than leaving credits off of a demo reel in which you served as "co-director" (Unless you hardly did any of the work).
Good luck!
