Hey everyone, I'm thinking of applying to Sheridan's Media Arts program as I've heard good stuff from other programs such as their Animation section. It sounds like it will be a good school. I need some other opinions as well though. I am a fairly good student, and am currently building my portfolio. Please post your opinions on this school, or any other reccomendations you may have. I live in Ontario, and for college/university I don't really want to leave here.

EDIT: Here is the link in case anyone wants to check out the program-- http://mediaarts.sheridaninstitute.ca/

Thanks in advance.

Seems like a good hands on program. But in the film industry, a lot of it has to do with who you know, and I'm not sure Sheridan would be a great credential when applying for jobs afterwards. If you want to stay in Ontario, consider a place like Ryerson or York.

Im going next year, but for photography. I didn't even realize they had a film program, except for that 1 year graduate course, then I found out it was called media arts. Anyways, the school is definatley good, and they spend money on having the best, and latest equipment. I mean look at their animation program, one, if not the best programs in the world. Im not sure if I would go there for their film program, only because it is also Television oriented, but thats just me.
