I went and visited the University of Hartford today. They have a pretty small film program, but it looked really good to me and I was pleasantly surprised with the school in a lot of ways. This is a good safety or alternative for people who aren't on the NYU or USC level but still want to study film in a nice environment. Location is a nice suburban area minutes from downtown Hartford and a couple hours from Boston and New York.

Definitely a little-known place that's worth looking into.

As a native of Connecticut, I can say that although the school may seem insignificant to other larger schools, it has many good programs and an ideal location.
