sure, I can do that But NYU has no real campus. The city is our campus, or more the West village/greenwhich village It is unlike any other university I've seen. But I promisse, NYC is a blast (sometimes a little too loud...) oh damn, I should change my name into NYU fanboy

well, i applied late december and i got accepted about two, three weeks ago. they did have some problems with my transcript and such, but about a week after i cleared everything up i got accepted. i dont remember when they notified me about getting my application in though. theyve sent me so many letters concerning different matters that ive kind of lost track of when i got what. as soon as i got all my stuff in order though i heard back almost immediately which suprised me. i wish you luck and by the way, did you send in a porfolio? cause that would probably help your chances of getting in. if youre looking for a witty signature, youre looking in the wrong place.

This year I only applied to SAIT, in Calgary. It's mostly just a tech school. Accepted there. Last year, I applied to about 3 schools... and made it into 2 of them. VFS, and SAIT once again. Didn't make it into U of Lethbridge because it was more of a media course than a film one... I didn't really have a chance. Ipassed college off last year because I was in love, and wanted to follow that love wherever it freaking went. But now, I want to get as far away... yet still staying in the same province.

Got rejected from UCLA. Not a big surprise. I heard that the average admitted student for UCLA will have taken 9 AP tests by the time they graduate! Insane! Hey Jesse do you know which dorm you're going to make your number 1 choice? I definately want one of the newer rooms but I'm afraid I may have to end up tripling up since they're so high in demand. I'll probably visit the campus soon and see what the dorms are like. Crazygopher you can check the status of your application online. Go to http://www.chapman.edu/admission/application/adm_status.asp and put in your email address and they should send you an email within a few minutes.

Hey no worries abut UCLA. Supposedly the film Dept. Only accepts like 90 people a year or something. I don't know. If someone got into UCLA...Congrats...you're truely special. But hey Chapman was my first pick and what da ya know... I have no idea what dorm I'm goin for. Hey email me at teamcaje@aol.com if you want to talk about trying to room together. The campus is awesome man, it's perfect. And the new film building they are building (weird) is amazing. Jesse
i'm sorry i'm not much of a speller. instead of studying for my spelling tests i was out playing with a movie camera.

Woohoo! I got in! I called today 'cause i still hadn't received a letter (and i didnt see that link, lazyaznguy, til just now), and they said I was accepted. That's probably where I'm going. Still waiting on USC but not anticipating admission there since I didnt get into FSU's film school & Chapman didn't accept me for early acceptance. So it's either Chapman or University of Iowa. Chapman is farther and warmer and has a better program, so...

so far have past the 1st round of cuts from AFI by getting two interviews to their grad program but don't know yet if i can afford such a school on loans, and i definitely need a car!! sad to say, the cinematography interview was very demanding, ----------- Alejandro Lalinde www.greystreetfilms.com"A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. Hey, can you share what you thought was demanding about the cinematography interview? I know they asked you "why don't you want to be a director?" What was your answer? I'm not planning to apply in the near future, but I'm a little curious as how to get past their infamous interviews. Plus AFI is only two blocks from me. I like to go look through the iron fence every now and then. congrats on getting this far.
