of entering a good undergraduate program at a good university?
you see... i'm from brazil and my big problem are my grades in high school.. i flunked the first year and after that most of my grades are B and some As... before that they were also good... the first year of HS was really where i screwd up everything and had to repeat it...
but i do a lot of activities.. like acting classes for 3 years.. presented some plays in my city... i know portuguese, spanish, french and english... i play violin... do you think that if i get a really good grade on the SAT test i have chances?

It'd be worse if you did great your first 3 years and then flunked your senior year. The fact that you had a bad freshmen year and then got better is something to be proud of and schools should look favorably on that.
Do well in the SAT's and I'm sure many schools would love to have you. Especially if you write a good essay about doing bad your freshman year and the things you had to do to overcome the challenges and get better grades.

Umm, what you mean?
P.S. agf, don't worry so much. All you need is just take SAT/ACT successfuly and complete your resume. BTW, which film schools are you going to apply to?

Columbia as I heard have undergraduate program, but it's not as good as graduate. UCLA, well it is very hard to get in, I am telling you this. You better try to apply to their MFA after receiving bachelor's degree. AFI don't have undergr program. But you can try USC. Still I think you should [ay attention to film schools like Chapman, Emerson and NYU, if you have enough money
