I'm interested into going into film but I also want to study political science. I was wondering if anybody knew about a film school that had filmmaking, not just theory studying, had connections with Hollywood and a program in politics? If anybody has any info it'd be very appreciated? Thanks Gdot

check out American it sounds like exactly what your looking for, it's in DC and they have the strongest documentary/poltic-like film program probably in the country, also they offer options to take a semester or two in LA, plus it's a really nice campus, look into it

I dont know exactly what kind of school you want.. but i go to the University of Miami.. and love it.
If your a film major, its required to double major in the Arts and Science Department (Poli Sci for example). So they make it really easy for you and your schedule works great so you do not have to worry about not having enough credits.
UM also hosted the first Spanish/English Republican debate last weekend.. and the Democratic one was in October. A lot of my friends volunteeted and met a lot of the candidates. We also have a few film programs in LA.. one really good one being a film festival in which the winners are screened in LA infront of top director/actors.
