I watched a couple of films in this forum. I am going to shoot another one in like 2 months, when I will apply to TISCH. Anyway, here's my last short film. Save for the editing mistakes and our not so good english, it has been considered a good short film by my German friends. What do you think? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7291075158026075874&q=misterek

Ich will dein Filme gesehen am nachsten Tag. Ich kann nicht gehoren weil ich hat kein Sprecher.
I'm sure my german looks absolutely horrible to you.
Your film definitely looks interesting, I will have to watch it on another computer with speakers later this week.
But really, hows my german? I haven't studied it in over 2 years.

Haha never heard anyone speaking German this way. It sounds funny but I like it. Sounds pretty unique. The grammar makes no sense at all but the meaning is 100 per cent clear. I am waiting for your comment.

Interesting story and sound. The crossfading is used too much and the acting's a little dry, but the score's superd, as well as the color. The film's very good. 8 outta 10.

I saw some good direction. you knew what you wanted and did your best to portray it. You just had poor tools.
I saw a good screenplay underneath the bad acting. I think with some better actors you could really pull something off here.
i realize your actors are your friends, so its cool
You english is WAY WAY better then my German so you get +50 points there.
It was really neat to see all the German architecture in the background. I really want to visit there some day.

Unless you think you could get something done better within your time limit (I don't know what it is), go for it. Worse they can say is "no" right?

I sure can do something better but right now I have no time for the next two months so that's not an option. But to apply for TISCH that would be too bad ain't it?

I read in this forum that the prestigious schools like usc and others often times rejected some student's films because of the flat plot. CHANGES is not so perfectly shot as of exposure or well-planned shots or acting but you said you liked the plot. So what do you personally think. Would my film be taken serious at emerson and usc and the other big ones?
