Has anyone heard anything good about VFS? Ive been looking at the school for over a month and the film production course is very interesting. It is only a 1 year course but with the foundation corse it is 2 years total. Also The confederation school in thunderbay, on. The 2 year film course offers alot. Has anyone heard anything good about them?

vfs as in vancouver film school? if so then ive heard nothing but bad things about it. i didn't go there, and have never talked to anyone who has, but its the type of impression you get of a film like Heaven's Gate or Ishtar, you've never seen it, so you can't judge it really, but no one says anything positive about it. thats the impression that i get.

I applied to VFS and got accepted. Their admissions was ASTOUNDING to work with. I didn't like their program at all though. It seemed as though the whole class competed for roles in the big projects. Also, it is a HARDCORE 2 years. I think it started at the begining of September and ended at the end august the following year. Leaving you only a few weeks break. It seems like one of those schools that own their student's films. But that was my take on it. I also looked at their student examples, and no offense to current students there (i am sure I didnt see your film), they sucked.
