After looking at several film schools,I have narrowed my choice to SVA, Manhattan, or Art Center. Pasadena. I liked SVA, the faculty, the students I met, the equipment and the facts that it is in NYC, but I am worried that it may not as good as it seems on a quick visit. What are the grads doing? Are there administative hassles and trouble getting clases or equipment? Is it a huge film class where no one know anyone? I also liked Art Center, Pasadena on my brief visit, but there really is no campus life (no dorms)and I already live in SoCal, and want to see a little more of the world. Yet it seems to have great faculty and equipment, and I get the sense most grads find good work.I also think it is a much smaller and more selective film school. I am interesting in all aspects of film making, but especially cinematography and independent film making, and I want to be working in the industry after I graduate. I am really having a hard time deciding between these two schools.Any advise? Must decide by May 1

Art Center. There have been many film students who won Directors guild awards, Cannes film festival awards, Sundance film festival awards and student academy awards. It compares to USC. If you want to be a cinematographer Art Center is the place to go. Ive been going there for two terms (writing and directing). I do wish it had the Dorm life. HUge let down but you gotta sacrifice some. Either way which ever school you choose, no matter what, it's about what YOU can bring.
