Hey guys,

I've already got my eye on Columbia Chicago College. I just got a packet from North Carolina School of The Arts I requested a while ago when I trying find a film school that would be right for me. I just wanted to know about what's the word about North Carolina School of The Arts. I heard a few good and bad things about the school. I wanted to know if the would be worth or a waste of time if I go there for film?

i was definitely impressed by the tour over there. apparently you work your ass off in all aspects of filmmaking- you take classes during the week and shoot on film crews on the weekends. all of their teachers are well experienced in the film industry. it is a hard school though, they have to invite you back after your sophomore year. and they have, according to them, one of the biggest theater screens in the eastern us. and damnit all i was deferred from there! Mad

if youre looking for a witty signature, youre looking in the wrong place.

My film teacher, in GA who went there, has been ass. dir. written a novel "when the finch rises" and been script supervisor in the hollywood industry.

he says that those who graduate get a really good succuss rate in the hollywood industry not just the industry.

Ye, who goes to bed with itchy butt, wakes up with stinky finger.

I know some people who have gone there and are prety talented, but the stuff they brings back is quite good. They seem to have a fair amount of skilled teachers and the students get access to some good equipment and even some hollywood grade b actors.

I heard very good things about it...a friend of mine is attending it.

However, the films I've seen so far (only 2) sucked.

Not really the schools fault. I would definitely reccomend it.
