I have two questions.

The first question is, does anyone have any information on the Academy of Art SF. I am looking into going there for thier graduate program. I am looking into either the Motion picture television program, or thier Visual EFX program both offer MFA.

The second question is, does anyone have any info on CALARTS. I am going to be in California in March and I am going to be checking out both schools. I am going to ask a ton of questions, but those reps. are trying to sell thier school. I always find it better to get information from an outside source.

CalArts is more geared towards animation. Forget that Tim Burton went there, because while he was there he never touched a camera. He was an animator and that's how Disney hired him in the first place. If you're a Film Junkie, don't go there. Academy of Art SF on the other hand I think offers the better program of the 2. There's some Academy stuff up on this site, check 'em out. See what you think.
