Does anybody here find the black backround / white font extremely irritating to the eyes? I can only take this sharp contrast for 5 - 10 minutes before having to leave! Is this something you guys have gotten used to?

I've totally gotten used to it, but I would be all for a different color scheme. THis comes up every so often, and we always mention changing it, and the same people always say the same things Big Grin

Neither me, I like it but a new site layout might be in order. Just for an update. It may be nice for a redesign. Every so often there's those errors on the main page as well.

I like it. Leave it alone or I'll hurt you.

It's easier for me to read. I guess everyone's different.

I don't know how Eve Community works, but forums and messageboards that use PHPBB let the user pick the theme/color scheme. Anyone know if that's possible for Eve?

I think that the site is actually easier on my eyes than other sites. In the morning when I am just waking up and go on the site my still tired eyes aren't quite adjusted to brightness, I can look at this site without much problem compared to sites with a white background. I hope that makes sense.

Ive never had a problem while on the site... but occaisonally I'll jump from here to a white page and it takes a moment to adjust.

Still, I like these colors- they're very film-ish. everyone knows black is the official color of Film and Theatre.

Actors? What actors?
