CONSUMPTION, a short horror film starring Mandy Van Duyne (of Jonas Brothers fame) and Caleb Spillyards from the band SCHOOL BOY HUMOR, will be conducting auditions on June 27. Auditions will be held in Winston-Salem, NC - June 27 The production company behind the new short film has announced an open casting call.

Shooting will take place in and around Winston-Salem, NC in late-July and early-August. Auditions will consist of: 1. 2-minute prepared monologue 2. 1-minute cold read (script provided by the production team the day of auditions) 3. Improvisational exercise (time permitting) Those auditioning should come prepared with their monologue. Please bring a headshot and resume.

The parts being cast include: Male - early 20s Female - early 20s Two males - 45 to 75 Male - 30s Male - 20s Male - 20s Various males & females - portraying police officers Actors under the age of 18 will need to look the ages required for characters, and will need to be accompanied to the set by a parent or guardian.

The film is being shot in Winston-Salem, NC from July 29 - August 4, 2009.

Most of the roles being cast will only require the actors to be on set between one and three days. There is no pay involved for these parts, but details regarding a future feature film based on this short, which will include salaries, will be discussed the day of auditions.
