I've been looking at film schools alot and i think i have a pretty good list but i feel like I'm missing some schools and theres a couple that i know i should get off of the list. Just so you know my situation, I live in New Jersey and I'd rather not go to the West coast but I'm willing to consider it for a great school(like chapman) I'd rather stay out of NYC, so I don't like NYU... Here's my list as it stand right now:
Academy of Art U American U Boston U Champlain C Chapman U Columbia C Chicago Denison U Emerson C Hampshire C Ithaca C Loyola Marymount U Mass C Art Northwestern U IL Point Park U SUNY Purchase Syracuse U Webster U
I haven't heard anything about webster, Point Park, or CHamplain on this site yet, but they seem to have prettyh good programs... anyone know anything about their film programs?
If anyone has any suggestions/comments or knows anything about these schools it'd be greatly appreciated.

DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT look into Point Park...yes it may be a good school, but it virtually is a money pit...they'll show you lots of films, and hardly let you use the equipment or give you contacts after graduation....my advice, just stay away from it...

I visited Emerson a week ago and it was incredible. Campus is growing, the facilities are top notch and the equipment is state of the art. they have like 80 stations just of final cut editing computers. they have avid as well, and the bottomline is that they have everything imaginable in a great part of Boston. I loved it, I applied EA there about 2 weeks ago, and if I don't get into NYU since I applied there ED, I'll go to Emerson, again, if I get in. this is my list, currently 1.nyu 2.emerson 3.chapman 4.columbia college 5.san fran state 6.st. john's 7.unlv
