Boston University, College of Communication
Things you like:
Professors were great - alumni connection was good. Plus - Boston is a great town to go to college at.
Things you hate:
Couldn't take film production classes until junior year - but this is sortof a blessing in disguise at it allows you to build material that you would like to shoot (and spend tons of money shooting film on)
Why you chose it:
My experience at ITRP - their summer program for high school students.

Cogswell College in Northern Cali, Bachelors Program for Digital Motion Picture

Things you like:
Screenwriting, Graphic Mind Expansion and Wheat Chex sprinkled with sugar.

Things you hate:
People who are so busy being critical that they never produce any work of their own.

Why you chose it:
Court ordered therapy.

Where do you go?:

New York University: Tisch School of the Arts (graduated january 2006)

Things you like:

Teachers, Students, City, Great school and education

Expenses

Why you chose it:

Famous school and I hoped to get the best possible film education at NYU.

Things you like:
Fantastic professors, who are inspired, creative, and really care about us. Amazing facilities, and opportunities, and the other students. It's so nice working with people who share the same dedication to film as I have. I never had that before.

Things you hate are kind of slightly annoyed by:
The red-tape. All the paperwork we need to go through to get equipment, facilities, insurance, etc. And the required expository writing class, which is like death in class form.

Why you chose it:
I didn't want to go to the West Coast ("we'll all be back there soon enough!" seems to be the opinion of most of the California students here) and NYU is basically one of the top film schools in the world, so... once I got in here, there was really no contest.

University of Florida. What do I like? Not only is it cheap, it's the reverse of expensive (I get around $5000/yr extra to go here). There are also many outdoor locations and a supply of actors.

The bad? No film school. No equipment. No support from the school itself.
