I think the only place in the U.S. that really offers a cinematography tailored MFA is the American Film Institute. USC, Cal Arts, NYU and probablly a few others offer excellent cinematography education but I don't think they let you specialize from the get-go. Europe may have more specialized programs than the U.S.

I had a meeting with a student Mastering in Cinematography at Chapman University last summer to go over my transcripts. So I think they offer that degree. Well at least he told me he was mastering in it. Check out their web-page.
Besides filming, the only other thing I ever did good was filming.
