so WHY, oh WHY would i NEVER go there?
easy: its in GA.... i HATE living here...
i need a new enviroment, where country music is at a minimum..
haha, actually... savannah is hella cool...
its more old colonial, very cool...
and the hilton hotel is ****ing awesome! stayed there last year!

I go to SCAD and love it. There facilities are awesome and they have a ton of equipment. The problem with this school is not the school itself, but the students that go here. A lot of the film students, and I mean ALOT, think they are amazing and they truly suck. A lot of people are not willing to help out other people on their projects , I would assume because they dont realize that film is a collaborative business. I have not really had a problem with this, but a lot of my friends have. I think I just choose the right people to work with, because my crew that I use is amazing. Another thing worth mentioning about SCAD is the fact that almost all the other majors can be used to enhance a film, from metals and jewelry (props), to fashion (for costumes), to interior design (for set design), to industrial design (for sets or props), to product design (for advertising). The possibilities are endless if you really use them right.

The Savannah Film Festival is also amazing. The most fun week of my life.

There are also suprisingly a lot of contacts here, Im assuming because there are a lot of films and commercials filmed here.

Definetly check it out, and email me if you have any questions.

You will see Distant Walls soon. We used the facilities here, you can see what SCAD can do for you. Trailer will be up shortly. If anyone wants to tell me how to post pics up, Ill post some grabs from the film.
