Can anyone give me any information about the film programs with these schools:

*SJSU
*SFSU
*UC Santa Cruz

The only one I've heard somewhat positive things about is SFSU, and even that school has a couple of negatives listed on Filmmaker.com...

Since I'm able to get to SJSU{as I spend a lot of time at King Library}, I may visit the film program there. The others won't be so simple, unfortunately.

Aside from my first question of any negative/positive things about the listed schools, how would you go about researching schools? {Especially if the schools are several miles away!}

In the thread 'my film school choices' I already have criteria, and have been researching the net for what students have said, and, if possible, emailing the departments.
