Any feedback about this school would be great. Pros/Cons, etc. Do you apply and/or did you go there.

thanks

I applied to Emerson. Visited it about 2 months ago, seemed like a decent place. Small population (approx 4000) which is good for a college right in the middle of the city. One thing I didn't like was that you don't get to start shooting film till sophomore year.

Emerson is great. I know a lot of people who either go there or have gone there, and they all loved it. I'm hoping to go there, myself.

I'm a film student at a state school in massachusetts, as far as im concerned emerson is a good film school, but reputation is rich pricks who pay for there films to be done by other more able persons, now im not saying this is true this is just the reputation of the school.

It's as scary as a glass a milk.

I've never heard that before. If anything, Emerson has a reputation of being really artsy, which I'm also told is not really true.

You're thinking of USC, my friend.

Just got back from a tour/information session. I was really blown away. I'll probably go there if I get in.

MULLEN, this is the reputation of any and all good film schools... USC, NYU etc. have a HUGE majority of their students with no talent but big wallets...

Nothing to worry about though...
Money can't buy talent... that is natural, so you have it, or you don't..
